Whatever you need, there are people ready to support you. Here’s a list of community providers who are passionate about supporting mothers and families.

Providers- Pre/postnatal & Newborn Support:

Mary Catherine Hamlin Midwifery (Tampa Bay and surrounding areas): Homebirth midwifery care as well as prenatal and postpartum support to fill gaps for those working with an OBGYN or having a hospital birth. (See more info here on Midwifery Mentoring for Hospital Birth.)

Palm Wellness (South Tampa/Virtual): Dr. Natalie Rougié provides acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and customized pilates to support fertility, changes through all four trimesters, and better health and balance.

Ryann Kuckle, LSCW (Tampa/Virtual): Counseling and support for maternal mental health. Ryann also specializes in grief counseling for families who have experienced loss and/or fertility hardships.

The Hope Doctors Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy (Saint Petersburg): Holistic Orthopedic + Pelvic Experience to find the root cause of the issue, helping you to rewire and restore function, and build adaptability for everyday life. They also provide education and therapy for prenatal, birth, and postnatal pelvic floor health and programs for whole body restoration post birth.

Blossom Family Chiropractic (Saint Petersburg): Blossom Family Chiropractic is a nervous system based chiropractic office that focuses on supporting expecting & postpartum moms, kiddos, and families

Dr. Blair Milo, Chiropractor (South Tampa): Dr. Blair is a holistic chiropractic kinesiologist. Her approach assesses the structural, biochemical and emotional aspects of health. She sees both infants, children, pre/post natal women, and adults.

Advanced Ultrasound (Tampa): Private ultrasound services with real time report on fetus anatomy, gender, etc.

Catherine Halek, IBCLC & Certified Infant Sleep Coach (Virtual): Personalized lactation and infant sleep support focused on your unique needs and stage.

Madden Therapy Solutions (Saint Petersburg/Tampa Bay): Madden Therapy Solutions provides lactation support and counseling, bottle feeding support/therapy, pediatric sleep consulting, and occupational therapy services in our office in St Pete as well as in-homes around the Tampa Bay area. We have several therapists that are Certified Lactation Counselors, as well as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and certified sleep consultants available to assist (free 15 min consults through the website).

Lifetime of Love Nannies (Tampa/Saint Petersburg *only for full time read on…): Full service nanny and care company with fulled vetted nannies and support to help find the right match for you. They are located in Nevada, however the company can help coordinate full time or salary based support (day or overnight) here in Florida. They also employ several nannies with special training such as the Newborn Care Specialist (as well as other specialized care).

Local Businesses (Saint Petersburg/Tampa):

Music and Me (Saint Petersburg): Music & Me is a meaningful play-based music program for infants, young children, and their grownups – and it’s so much more. Classes are based on the latest research between music/movement/play, and children’s cognitive/social/motor learning. These classes are highly recommended by moms in the community for both the benefit to their baby and themselves.

The Story Garden (Saint Petersburg): Local children’s book store. They also host lots of infant/children groups and events.

Clare Allard Pilates (Saint Petersburg): Weekly mat pilates classes suitable for all levels and a prenatal/postnatal pilates class. Small classes focus on correct form, core and pelvic floor activation and work on whole body strengthening, stretching as well as relaxation. 

The Body Electric (Saint Petersburg): Yoga studio that cares about the community and welcomes all levels. Prenatal and postpartum women are welcome to any and all classes and are encouraged to listen to their bodies and modify postures/breathwork as needed (no breath holding while pregnant!). The following classes are most easily modified: Foundations, Stretch and Reset, and Soundbath and Chill. *Also- Abby (yoga instructor) used to offer a bring your baby yoga class! Little Llamas Boutique: (Saint Petersburg): Local business and children's boutique offering sustainable and clean fashion. You will feel great about what you put on their body and they will look great too!

Tina Marie Photography (Tampa Bay): Newborn photographer who specializes in maternity and newborn photography, and family + couple portraits.

Alison Amick Photography (Saint Petersburg): Newborn and family photographer specializing in candids and capturing the unscripted moments.
